Jordan Kuwait Bank has renewed its strategic partnership with Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans for the years 2026–2030, a step reflecting a long-term commitment to supporting the education of orphaned young men and women, enabling them to complete their university studies, and building a more stable and independent future.
Under the agreement, the bank will provide educational scholarships to a number of young beneficiaries of Al-Aman Fund, in cooperation with Jordanian universities distributed across various governorates of the Kingdom. The scholarships will cover their university tuition costs in accordance with the academic standards and tracks approved by the Fund.
The support targets youth graduating from residential care centers who spent most or all of their childhood in care facilities affiliated with or registered under the Ministry of Social Development. It also covers orphaned youth supported by orphan care associations registered with the Ministry who live with a surviving parent or extended family members under difficult financial circumstances.
Chief Executive Officer of Jordan Kuwait Bank Group, Haethum Buttikhi, stated that renewing the partnership for four years reflects the bank's keenness to build long-term community partnerships capable of creating a sustainable impact. He emphasized that investing in the education of orphaned youth provides them with the tools needed to build their future, enhance their self-reliance, and effectively integrate into professional and community life.
Buttikhi added that the partnership with Al-Aman Fund goes beyond providing educational support to represent an investment in youth potential and their future. He noted that extending support through 2030 allows for assisting these young people throughout their university journey in a more sustainable manner, aiding their transition from the care phase to independence and career building.
Eng. Noor Al-Homoud, Director General of Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, stated that renewing the partnership with Jordan Kuwait Bank until 2030 embodies a model of strategic partnerships that transcend direct assistance to invest sustainably in people and make a real difference in young lives. She affirmed that education constitutes one of the most vital pathways for empowering youth to move confidently toward independence and build their futures.
She added: "We take pride in this extended partnership because it reflects a shared belief that empowering youth is not achieved through a single opportunity, but through a long-term commitment that accompanies them through pivotal stages of their lives. We believe that every young man and woman given an opportunity for education represents new energy added to our society, and a success story capable of creating an impact that extends beyond the individual to their family, community, and nation."
The renewal of this partnership comes as an extension of Jordan Kuwait Bank's approach to supporting education and initiatives with sustainable social impact, while bolstering Al-Aman Fund’s efforts to empower its beneficiaries and provide opportunities that help them complete their education and build an independent future.
