In light of regional developments related to the Iranian strike, Royal Jordanian confirmed that there has been no change to flight operations or departure schedules, and that operational activities are proceeding normally.
Royal Jordanian Director General Samer Al-Majali stated in media remarks that continuous coordination is underway with relevant authorities, including the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army and the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, to monitor updates and take necessary measures to ensure passenger safety and the continuity of air traffic.
He explained that if any changes occur regarding flight traffic or schedules as a result of regional developments, they will be announced through official channels.
The Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army announced on Tuesday evening that the Kingdom was subjected over the past hours to a missile attack originating from Iranian territory.
It confirmed that Jordanian air defense systems engaged 13 ballistic missiles that entered the Kingdom's airspace, successfully intercepting and destroying 10 of them, while 3 missiles fell in remote areas far from populated centers.
It clarified that the attack was handled in accordance with approved operational procedures, recording no injuries or loss of life, while specialized teams began securing the impact sites and taking the necessary measures to ensure citizen safety.
