The Unified Admission Coordination Unit at the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development announced on Wednesday the date and arrangements for conducting the tie-breaker exam scheduled for Jordanian students with equal GPAs in the foreign General Secondary Education Certificate for the academic year 2026–2027.
​The unit stated that the exam will be held on Tuesday, September 8, at the University of Jordan, Computer Labs Complex (Student.com), covering four scientific subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
​It explained that the exam will be conducted across three sessions: the first from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the second from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and the third from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with each session lasting two hours.
​It clarified that students' entry into the university campus will be through the North Gate only, and that the exam is computerized, accessed using the student's national identification number.
​It emphasized the necessity for every student to bring a valid civil status ID card or passport, while bringing calculators or mobile phones into the exam hall is strictly prohibited.
​It pointed out that a student not being summoned to take the tie-breaker exam does not mean their exclusion from the competition and admission nomination process, but rather indicates that there is no GPA tie with other students.
​It called on students to arrive at the designated location for the exam at least half an hour before its scheduled time and not to bring parents or guardians, as they will not be allowed to enter the university campus, nor are comfortable reception facilities available for them.
​It urged students to view the names of those invited to the exam for each session, listed alphabetically, through the website of the Unified Admission Coordination Unit.
