The matches of which will end on August 18 - Zain Company, Budget Company, Al-Shami Eye Center team, Jordan Bromine team, Irbid Youth Authority veterans team, and Arab Potash Company team, where the competitions witnessed an enthusiastic and interactive atmosphere full of vitality and crowd turnout.

The Old Timers team, sponsored by the Jordan Bromine Company, is preparing to represent Jordan by participating in the World Championship for Basketball Veterans Over 40 Years within 26 international teams, and it is the only Arab team that participates in the tournament hosted by Argentina during August of this year. Last year, Jordan was represented for the first time in the International Basketball Championship that was held in Malaga, Spain. The team participated in the 40-year-old category and achieved two victories against Slovenia and Austria, and suffered 3 losses against Britain, Spain and Switzerland.

It is noteworthy that the Basketball Veterans Championship was launched in 2012 and is held annually. It has now reached the eleventh season, as the tournament was not interrupted until 2020 due to the Corona pandemic, and the most prominent old basketball stars, such as: Sam Douglas, Abdullah Abu Qura, Fadl Al-Najjar, participate in it.
