Honorary President of Al-Wehdat SC, Imad Al-Dumaisi, confirmed that the club's board of directors held a meeting to discuss the fallout from the team's recent match against Al-Ramtha, noting that discussions remain ongoing to reach the right decision.
Speaking to "Rum and Al-Meydan," Al-Dumaisi stated: "We, along with the club president and board members, discussed the details of what happened yesterday during the Al-Ramtha match, and deliberations remain open until we reach the correct decision."
Addressing rumors regarding potential management intervention in technical matters or additions to the coaching staff, Al-Dumaisi clarified that these subjects were central to the board's discussions. He emphasized that the final call rests with the management following consultation, with no final decision reached regarding the head coach at this stage.
"I don't know yet; that decision ultimately rests with the management. We consult with one another and work through it together," Al-Dumaisi added, stressing that "the best is yet to come" and that matters are moving in the right direction while urging against rushed decision-making.
Reflecting on his visible emotion and tears following the conclusion of the match, Al-Dumaisi explained: "I cried because of the fans whom I love—that is the sole reason I broke down. I wanted so badly to bring them joy, but I couldn't, and the pressure got to me. That is what happened."
