Jordanian national boxing team player Zeyad Eashash claimed the silver medal on Friday in the under-70 kg category at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games held in Japan.
Eashash’s silver medal comes after reaching the final in his weight class following three consecutive victories, defeating Palestine's Mohammad Issa in the Round of 16, Tajikistan's Shamshir Saidov in the quarterfinals, and host nation Japan's Sewonrets Okazawa in the semifinals.
This marks Zeyad Eashash's second medal in Asian Games history, following his bronze medal win at the Jakarta 2018 edition.
