Middle East University (MEU), located in Amman, Jordan, has announced job opportunities to join its faculty and technical staff across several academic disciplines and specialized roles.
1. Academic Vacancies
The opening positions across faculties and academic ranks are as follows:
Faculty of Business: Assistant Professor in Financial Technology (FinTech).
Faculty of Information Technology: Assistant Professor in Computer Science.
Faculty of Media:
Assistant Professor in Media and Communication Sciences.
Assistant Professor in Digital Journalism.
Professor of Practice in Media, Radio & Television, Digital Media, and Journalism.
Qualifications and Requirements:
For the Professor of Practice position: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Media or a related discipline, along with at least 10 years of practical experience in broadcasting, cinema, and television production.
Published or accepted research in peer-reviewed, internationally indexed scientific journals.
Complete fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Priority in hiring will be given to Jordanian nationals.
2. Technical Vacancies
Position: Laboratory Equipment Maintenance Technician.
Qualifications and Requirements:
A Diploma in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
At least 3 years of practical experience in laboratory equipment maintenance.
Ability to diagnose electronic and electrical faults, and perform repair and maintenance work.
Ability to operate and monitor the performance of laboratory equipment.
Knowledge of control systems fundamentals, automation, sensors, and measuring circuits.
