A Decade of Impact .. How the Crown Prince Foundation Opened Wider Space for Youth Ambition

The past ten years were not merely a number in the records of the Crown Prince Foundation; they were a decade of betting on the energy of Jordanian youth and working to shift them from the margins of waiting to the heart of initiative. Since its inception, the Foundation proceeded with a clear vision: an opportunity is incomplete unless it reaches youth wherever they are, and real impact begins when ambition transforms into skill, skill into action, and action into added value for the nation.
Across this decade, the operational map expanded through three interconnected pillars: economic participation, leadership, and sustainable community development. Under this umbrella emerged Al-Hussein Technical University, the Advanced Vocational Training College, "42 Amman" and "42 Irbid," "Jordan Coders," "Makerspace," "Hussein Footsteps Program," the "School Leadership Program," and the "NAHNO" platform for volunteer work. While these various programs differ in their tools, they converge on a single goal: preparing a young person who possesses the knowledge, confidence, and ability to turn an idea into an achievement.
For their part, numbers paint a side of the story, as the Foundation's operational ecosystem encompasses more than 14 specialized programs, extending daily across 26 locations in various governorates, while reaching over 2.2 million young men and women annually. Yet what lies behind the numbers is even more significant: a training opportunity that reached a village, a digital skill that opened a job door, and a youth idea that found mentorship until it became a project. In the "With the Youth" series, launched from Ma'an to celebrate the ten-year mark, these stories appeared through the faces of their creators—youth who passed the impact of their experiences to hundreds of others in freelancing, environment, and digital manufacturing.
At the heart of this movement, the "Tawasal" forum solidified its presence as a national space bringing youth together with experts and decision-makers, placing issues of education, technology, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, and economic and social reform on the discussion table. Its fourth edition in 2026 carried a more inclusive dimension, as its activities extended to the Foundation's offices and broadcast screens across the governorates, allowing knowledge to cross the boundaries of the hall and making dialogue accessible to the nation's youth across its span.
After ten years, the message appears clearer than ever: investing in youth is not a seasonal activity, but a long-term national choice. With accelerating digital transformation and changing labor market requirements, the question shifts from the scale of what was achieved to how to multiply its impact. Here lies the challenge of the coming decade: training leading to measurable employment opportunities, scalable initiatives, and deeper partnerships between the public, private, and civil society sectors, with youth remaining partners in designing programs rather than mere beneficiaries.
Celebrating ten years of impact is not a stance focused on the past so much as a declaration of a new beginning. Institutions are measured by their ability to make success replicable and to turn every empowered young person into a launching pad for broader impact. This is the bet with which the Crown Prince Foundation moves toward its second decade: closer opportunities, a stronger youth voice, and a Jordan building its future through the hands of its children, their knowledge, and their confidence in their ability to make a difference.
The celebration is grand, with the royal presence represented by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, may God protect him, and through the broad participation of creative Jordanian youth capable of seizing opportunities despite challenging regional circumstances. Congratulations to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince on this achievement whose impact we have witnessed across various governorates. May God preserve Jordan under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, its people, and its persevering youth.
