Al-Faisaly head coach Tarek Mostafa expressed full confidence in his side's ability to present a completely different performance in their upcoming match against Oman's Al-Nahda, emphasizing the vital importance of securing a positive result to make up for previous setbacks.
Speaking during the pre-match press conference, Mostafa highlighted that good fortune plays a significant role in football, noting that Al-Faisaly had been in a position to secure a positive outcome during their previous encounter against Qatar's Al-Rayyan, though success ultimately eluded them.
He added that fixture congestion poses a substantial obstacle for the squad, with the team forced to navigate a grueling schedule of seven matches in just 25 days, compounded by injuries that several key players have been battling for some time. Nevertheless, Mostafa reaffirmed his complete trust in the available players to step up and deliver what is required on the pitch.
The manager stressed that the interest of the club and team comes above all else, assuring that any player who fights for the shirt will receive complete support. He expressed firm belief that the current group possesses the necessary resilience to take responsibility during this critical stretch.
Mostafa indicated that the technical staff is working on making necessary adjustments to the starting lineup according to match conditions and player readiness, noting that certain elements still require additional time and training to fully adapt before receiving larger roles.
He concluded his remarks by promising supporters that they will witness a transformed team in the upcoming fixture, expressing hope of achieving a result worthy of Al-Faisaly's stature and the aspirations of its fanbase.
