Jordan Kuwait Bank provided its support to several basketball tournaments and friendly matches organized by the "Steps" Foundation for children and youth aged between 13 and 16 across several governorates of the Kingdom as part of the foundation's 2026 program, reinforcing its commitment to supporting initiatives that empower youth and strengthen the role of sports in character building and life skills development.
This support enabled 260 boys and girls to participate in organized sports competitions that offered a healthy and safe environment to apply the skills acquired throughout the year—foremost among them teamwork, discipline, leadership, and respect—while fostering communication with peers from various governorates and providing opportunities to explore new areas, thereby positively impacting their character development and self-confidence.
Jordan Kuwait Bank continues its support for the "Steps" Foundation this year for the fourth consecutive year within an ongoing partnership reflecting its commitment to backing its initiatives and programs. This aligns with its corporate social responsibility strategy focused on supporting high-impact, sustainable initiatives in youth, education, and sports, driven by its belief that sports serve as an effective instrument for capacity development, instilling positive values, and creating a stimulating environment that helps children and youth develop their potential and hone their skills.
It is worth noting that the "Steps" Foundation is a charitable organization established in the United Kingdom in 2006, executing sports and development programs for children and youth aged 6 to 16 in Jordan, Palestine, and Lebanon, with a focus on underprivileged communities. It also trains and employs youth from local communities as coaches to enhance their economic and social opportunities, collaborating with sports clubs and community centers to maximize the impact of its programs.
