According to the website, the occupation is awaiting Hamas’ response to the proposal, noting that officials expressed cautious optimism about progress on the deal in the coming days.
The website pointed out that the Israeli proposal did not include stopping the aggression against Gaza.
Hebrew media reported that one of the most important features of the Israeli initiative for the exchange deal is a tactical withdrawal of the Israeli occupation army from several areas in the Gaza Strip and the release of Palestinian prisoners from the occupation prisons.
