Al-Malaeb newspaper has received information indicating that a national sports federation for a team sport has filed a lawsuit against a businessman who previously supported its tournaments.

According to the details, the federation is demanding that the businessman and his sponsoring company—owned by him—pay hundreds of thousands of dinars still owed from a previous sponsorship agreement.

Reports also suggest that the sponsor attempted to interfere in matters beyond his role.
