Amman – The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission confirmed Wednesday that, in coordination with the Ministry of Education and to safeguard the integrity of the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi), all messaging applications that could affect the exam process will be blocked.

The ban will apply from 19 June to 10 July 2025 in all schools where exams are being held, and only during exam hours.

The Commission stated that this measure is a precaution to prevent cheating and leaks of exam questions, aiming to ensure fairness and credibility in the results, which it described as a vital national interest and a foundation of the educational process in Jordan
