Amman Ahliyya University has made remarkable progress in its global standing, ranking among the top 761 universities worldwide in the QS World University Rankings 2026. It secured first place among Jordan’s private universities and third overall among all Jordanian universities, following the University of Jordan and Jordan University of Science and Technology.
Recently, the university also achieved a prestigious academic milestone by entering the 101–200 global bracket out of 2,318 participating universities in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025.
Additionally, Amman Ahliyya ranked 186th in the THE Asia University Rankings 2025, which featured nearly 1,200 Asian universities — a reflection of its continued advancement in academic, scientific, and research stature locally, regionally, and globally.
The university also ranked 16th in the 2024 Arab Universities Ranking issued by the Association of Arab Universities, and 28th in the THE Arab University Rankings.
University President Prof. Sari Hamdan commented:
“We take great pride in this milestone achievement, which adds to the university’s record of excellence. This ranking reflects the collective efforts of all faculties and departments in driving distinction.”
Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, stated:
“These top rankings are badges of honour and a testament to the university’s strategic direction. They reinforce its growing academic and research stature and affirm its position as a leading educational institution with global impact.”
Dr. Al-Hourani congratulated Prof. Sari Hamdan, the faculty, and all members of the university for this qualitative leap, affirming the university’s commitment to global competitiveness through high-quality education that meets world-class standards.
