In line with its social responsibility and commitment to maintaining a healthy and safe work environment, and ahead of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 26, Jordan Kuwait Bank hosted an awareness panel discussion titled “The Drug Scourge: Efforts in Combating It and the Dangers of Addiction”.

The event was held at the bank’s theatre in collaboration with the Anti-Narcotics Department, the National Forum for Awareness and Development, and the General Youth Conference, making Jordan Kuwait Bank the first bank to hold such a session for its employees.

The session aimed to raise employees’ awareness about the dangers of drugs and their destructive impact on individuals and society. It also highlighted prevention methods and protection mechanisms, reinforcing national efforts to combat a threat that endangers both public safety and social stability.

The event concluded with a Q&A session, followed by a tour of the mobile educational lab provided by the Anti-Narcotics Department, giving employees a deeper look at the tools and approaches used in drug education and prevention.
