By product type, exports of foreign-origin goods accounted for JD386 million, followed by industrial products (JD149 million), agricultural goods (JD100 million), Arab-origin goods (JD61 million), with the remainder falling under miscellaneous categories.
Certificates of origin are international trade documents that verify the country in which a product was manufactured or processed. Customs authorities use them to determine eligibility for import duties and other trade regulations.
The Amman Chamber issues these certificates for Jordanian agricultural, animal, and raw natural resources, as well as for re-exported foreign goods and local-market purchases under specific conditions. It also certifies Jordanian industrial products based on original factory invoices and certified documents proving Jordanian origin, in line with the Jordan Chamber of Commerce Regulation No. 45 of 2009 and the 2013 Certificate of Origin Instructions.
