President of Amman Ahliyya University Prof. Sari Hamdan has honoured Dr. Walaa Al-Samadi from the Faculty of Engineering in recognition of her leadership in a distinguished academic project recently approved under the EU-funded "Capacity Building in Higher Education" (CBHE) programme.

The ceremony was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Bashar Al-Tarawneh and Director of the Global Engagement Centre Dr. Firooz Abu Sweilem.

The approved project, titled "Enhancing Employability and Skills of Engineering Graduates through Innovation, Networking, Collaboration and Curriculum Modernisation (Eng-Inc)," aims to develop engineering students’ practical and employability skills through a specialised training diploma managed by the Faculty of Engineering.

Prof. Hamdan described the project as a major milestone for the university and a testament to its ability to engage in high-impact international initiatives that improve higher education and graduate competitiveness in the labour market. He also praised the faculty’s leadership and academic staff for their efforts in designing and developing the project.
