Israeli settlers are repeatedly intercepting Jordanian aid convoys en route to Gaza, Government Spokesperson and Minister of Government Communications Mohammad Momani said on Monday.

He stated that the latest incident occurred on Sunday, when settlers blocked the path of several trucks, forcing some to turn back.

“This is not the first time,” Momani added in repeated press briefings. “Settlers have previously attacked aid trucks and disrupted their movement toward Gaza.”

He noted that settlers gathered on a main road and disabled four trucks by throwing sharp objects, causing their tires to burst.
