Amman Al-Ahliyya University Participates in 10th Arab Chemistry Olympiad

Amman Al-Ahliyya University, represented by the College of Pharmacy, took part in the 10th Arab Chemistry Olympiad hosted by the University of Jordan under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Azmi Mahfaza. The event was attended by the President of the University of Jordan, Dr. Nadhir Obaidat, and featured delegations from eleven Arab countries competing in theoretical and practical chemistry tests and competitions.

Amman Al-Ahliyya University played an active and prominent role in supporting and sponsoring this prestigious scientific event. The university delegation included Dean of the College of Pharmacy Dr. Arwa Al-Khatib, Dr. Hamdi Al-Nusayrat, Dr. Arej Jaber, Dr. Aya Khalaf from the College of Arts and Sciences, Ms. Dala Abu Hazim, and student Abdullah Al-Dleimi. Dr. Arwa Al-Khatib received a commemorative shield in recognition of the university’s contributions to the event’s success.

Faculty members from the College of Pharmacy supervised the organization and monitoring of tests and competitions. The university also provided lab coats for all participating students and supervisors and distributed informational brochures about its academic programs, local and international accreditations, and prestigious global rankings.
