The Central Bank of Jordan, on behalf of the government, will offer on Monday the fifth issuance of Treasury bills for 2025 worth JD200 million through auction.

According to the bank’s data, the settlement date is set for 7 October, while the maturity date is 20 December 2025.

Treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments with maturities between 3 and 12 months, considered low-risk and tradable in money markets.

In contrast, Treasury bonds are long-term financing instruments with maturities ranging from 2 to 20 years, issued either by the government or corporations.
