Al-Faisaly was at the forefront of the Shield Championship, after its victory in Saturday's summit against Al-Hussein Irbid in the confrontation that brought them together at Prince Muhammad Stadium in Zarqa City.

The first half started strong from Al-Faisaly, and Al-Hussein's players seemed to be in a state of obvious tension, which prompted Al-Faisaly's players to rush towards Al-Hussein's goal, and Mohamed Klopp succeeded in opening the scoring for Al-Faisaly at the 14th minute.
