The Ministry of Social Development stated that 178 charitable and women's associations and federations across the Kingdom benefited from the cash support for 2026, with a total amount of 254 thousand dinars, as part of the associations' subsidies program.
The ministry indicated, in a press release issued today, Tuesday, that the support provided to charitable federations and associations comes within the framework of its role in empowering the voluntary sector and enhancing its role in providing services to target groups, contributing to responding to the needs of local communities efficiently and effectively.
It pointed out that it received 359 requests for cash support, after circulating to its field directorates in various governorates of the Kingdom at the beginning of the current year to receive support requests from federations and associations under its supervision, through the unified financing window for the associations' subsidies program for the current year.
The ministry explained that all submitted support requests were subjected to approved criteria and foundations, with the aim of ensuring that support is directed to deserving associations and federations, thus contributing to enhancing its impact in improving and sustaining services in the associations sector.
