Zain Renews Partnership with Princess Alia Foundation for Sixth Consecutive Year to Support Al Ma’wa for Nature and Wildlife

Jerash, 21st October 2026: Zain Jordan has renewed its partnership with Princess Alia Foundation for the sixth consecutive year, reaffirming its commitment to supporting Al Ma’wa and strengthening efforts to protect nature and wildlife. The renewed partnership reflects Zain’s ongoing commitment to supporting projects and initiatives that advance environmental sustainability across the Kingdom.

The renewed partnership builds on Zain’s continued support for Al Ma’wa, located in the Souf area of Jerash Governorate and spanning approximately 1,100 dunums. The reserve provides shelter and care for wild animals rescued or confiscated by the relevant authorities, offering them a safe environment and suitable living conditions. It also implements specialized care and rehabilitation programs and is currently home to approximately 70 wild animals of various species.

As part of the partnership, Zain will continue leveraging its technological capabilities and solutions to support the reserve’s operations. This includes providing free Wi-Fi to enable visitors to enjoy high-quality internet connectivity during their visits, share their experiences, and raise awareness of the reserve and its role in wildlife conservation. Zain also supports the operation of advanced surveillance cameras across the reserve to help control irresponsible behaviors that could threaten forests and woodland areas, alongside ongoing follow-up through reports assessing the reserve’s environmental and social impact.

Al Ma’wa for Nature and Wildfire plays an important role in promoting environmental awareness and highlights the importance of wildlife conservation and biodiversity. Through visitor experiences, the reserve offers an opportunity to learn about the animals in its care, understand the challenges they face, and appreciate the importance of preserving their natural habitats and interacting responsibly with wildlife.

The reserve also serves as a model for integrating nature conservation with support for local communities. By creating employment opportunities for residents of surrounding areas and encouraging ecotourism, it contributes to local development while generating a lasting environmental and social impact.

Zain’s continued support for Al Ma’wa falls within the company’s sustainability strategy and reflects its commitment to protecting natural resources, raising awareness of environmentally responsible practices, and supporting initiatives that contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals. It also underscores Zain’s commitment to utilizing technology to serve environmental and community causes across the Kingdom.
