​The security services on Saturday seized a bag smuggled via thermal balloons, inside of which 9 automatic firearms and positioning devices were discovered, following a report received by the Karak Governorate Police Directorate regarding a suspicious bag in the Mhay area of Karak Governorate, according to the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate.
​The media spokesperson explained that immediately upon receiving the notification, forces moved to the site, cordoned off the area, and experts initiated inspection of the bag. He noted that initial investigations indicated the bag arrived due to wind currents from the Kingdom's southern border, with investigations remaining ongoing.
