Orange Jordan announced its sponsorship and hosting of the "Future of AI and Female Entrepreneurs" conference, organized by Balqa Applied University (BAU) in cooperation with the "Womenpreneur" initiative under the DIGIWAVE project (Digital Wave), held under the slogan "From Digital Skills to Business Growth." Over two consecutive days, the event brought together a distinguished elite of female entrepreneurs, innovators, and technology sector leaders from across the Middle East and Africa region.
The conference provided a platform for exchanging expertise and deep insights into leveraging artificial intelligence to translate digital skills into tangible business growth in the digital era. Activities featured intensive online workshops on the first day, followed by a comprehensive conference hosted at the Innovation Hub at Orange Digital Center on the second day.
Orange Jordan confirmed that sponsoring this event reflects its firm commitment to digital inclusion, which stands as a core pillar of its corporate social responsibility strategy aimed at empowering women and boosting their participation in the digital economy through continuous initiatives and programs under the Orange Digital Center.
Orange Jordan serves as the technical partner for the DIGIWAVE project—in which Balqa Applied University participates as a main partner—to support female entrepreneurs and enhance their role in the digital economy, funded by the "Interreg NEXT MED" program and supported by the European Union.
