Al Hussein Technical University, one of the initiatives of the Crown Prince Foundation, and the Injaz Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and joint coordination between the two parties to advance programs and initiatives that enhance opportunities for young people in the field of entrepreneurship and community leadership.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Al-Hussein Technical University, the president of the university, Prof. Ismail Al-Hinti, and on behalf of the Injaz Foundation, CEO Dima Al-Bibi.
According to a press release issued by the Foundation yesterday, Saturday, the agreement aims to enhance cooperation between the two parties in all areas that support young men and women to enhance their entrepreneurial skills and increase their opportunities to enter the labor market as qualified employees or promising entrepreneurs by supporting them in establishing their start-up companies, in addition to supporting, developing and implementing programs and events in areas of common interest.
Dr. Al-Hinti said that the cooperation with the Injaz Foundation came to enhance joint efforts in areas that serve the pioneering and educational sector with the aim of maximizing the impact, and providing the young generation with the various skills, opportunities and programs necessary to meet their needs and requirements, and qualify them to enter the labor market.
He added that the university looks forward to building on this cooperation by working to provide a set of activities and events aimed at enhancing the capabilities of young men and women and reducing the gap between market needs and youth skills.
For her part, Al-Bibi indicated that the cooperation opens the way for students of Al-Hussein Technical University and those interested in benefiting from the services provided by the “My StartUp” business incubator, for female entrepreneurs interested in developing and establishing their startups and community institutions, as the incubator provides the most important services and programs that the pioneers need to establish their startups .
She stressed the importance of cooperation with Al-Hussein Technical University as a leading academic institution in qualifying young people for the labor market, explaining that Enjaz is proud of this partnership, which came to unify efforts and develop joint work through cooperation to implement a set of activities and programs aimed at enhancing economic opportunities for young people.
