The Arab Bank, in cooperation with the Injaz Foundation, launched a specialized training program aimed at enhancing and raising the financial awareness of women in several governorates of the Kingdom, as part of the Arab Bank’s strategy in terms of sustainability and social responsibility and its efforts to promote and disseminate financial culture among various segments of local society.
This program, which comes within the framework of the Arab Bank’s initiatives to empower women, seeks to introduce women to the most important financial concepts and skills, such as sound financial planning, promote the concept of rational consumption, and introduce the most important financial and digital products and services, types of accounts and loans, and how to deal with them. The training content also includes an explanation of the concept of cybersecurity and ways to deal with its risks.
In this program, the Arab Bank cooperates with a number of non-profit institutions to reach more than 250 women of different age groups in the north, center and south of the Kingdom. The program is implemented in cooperation with Tkiyet Um Ali, Dar Abu Abdullah, the Jordan River Foundation, the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature, and the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization.
It is worth noting here that the Arab Bank adopts a comprehensive and integrated strategy in terms of sustainability, which reflects the bank’s keenness to enhance its economic, social and environmental impact by working closely with various relevant parties to achieve sustainable development. The Arab Bank’s social responsibility program “Together” represents one of the fruits of this trend, and it is a multi-faceted program that focuses on developing various aspects of society through various initiatives and activities that contribute to serving several sectors, namely health, combating poverty, protecting the environment, education, supporting orphans, and empowering women.
