A Royal Decree was issued, on Tuesday, approving a seventh amendment to the government of Bishr Hani Al-Khasawneh, and below are the biographies of the new ministers in the government.
Raed Abu Al-Saud, Minister of Water and Irrigation.
Abu Al-Saud holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and construction management from the University of Miami, USA. He enrolled in educational and training courses related to construction, primavera, bilateral and international cooperation, water economics, financial and accounting management, management of drinking water treatment plants, and transparency in infrastructure concessions. Infrastructure at Harvard University and many Jordanian institutes and training centers.
He served as Minister of Water and Irrigation in the government of Omar al-Razzaz, and previously served as Minister of Public Works and Housing from October 25, 2004 to April 7, 2005. He was Minister of Public Works and Housing and Minister of Transport for the period from October 25, 2003 to October 24, 2004, and Minister of Water. And irrigation from April 2005 until July of the same year, and the same portfolio for the years from 2007 to 2009.
Abu Al-Saud worked as Director of the Planning and Administration Unit and Assistant Secretary-General of the Water Authority in the Ministry of Water and Irrigation, in the period 2000-2003.
The Minister is a member and head of the Council of the Civil Aviation Authority, a member of the Aqaba Railway Corporation, a member of the Hejazi Railway Corporation, a member of the Jordan Maritime Authority, and a member of the Public Transport Sector Regulatory Committee, in addition to his membership in the Housing, Development and Urban Corporation from 2003.
Wissam Al-Tahatmouni, Minister of Transport.
Al-Tahatmouni is the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Transport for the years from 2019 to the current year 2023, while before that she worked as Director of the Studies Directorates of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority.
Haditha Jamal Haditha Al-Kharisha, Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs.
Al-Kharisha was born in the capital, Amman, holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and served as Minister of Youth for the years 2017-2018.
Al-Khraisha worked as an engineer in the Ministry of Municipal Affairs, an engineer in the Roads Department, an engineer in the Buildings Department, Chairman of the Joint Services Council for the distinguished district, Mayor of Sahab, Director of Municipal Affairs for the Capital Governorate, and a member of several charitable societies.
Wajih Azayza, Minister of State
Azayza served in the government of Bishr Al-Khasawneh as Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs, Minister of Transport, and Minister of Social Development in the governments of Hani Al-Mulqi, Abdullah Al-Ensour, Fayez Al-Tarawneh, and Marouf Al-Bakhit.
The minister was born in Irbid Governorate in 1955. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Aleppo in Syria, and was awarded the Independence Medal, first class in 2007. Azaizeh was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hashemite Fund for the Reconstruction of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque
and the Dome of the Rock, the Mosque Reconstruction Committee. The Blessed Al-Aqsa and the Honorable Rock, Council of the Center for Studies of Refugees, Displaced Persons and Forced Migration/Yarmouk University. He is the commissioner of the Jordanian side in the Jordanian-Palestinian Joint Committee, and the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Directorate of Government Contributions/Ministry of Finance. He also worked as Director of the Prince Hamzah Hospital Implementation Unit in the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, and Director-General of the Palestinian Affairs Department.
Muhannad Al-Mubaideen, Minister of Government Communications
Al-Mubaideen holds a doctorate in philosophy of history/modern Arab history from the University of Jordan, a master’s degree in modern Islamic history from Al al-Bayt University, and a bachelor’s degree in history and archeology from Mu’tah University.
He worked as Dean of the Faculty of Student Affairs at the University of Jordan, the media spokesman for the Royal Committee to Modernize the Political System, Director General of the Royal Jordanian Hashemite Documentation Centre, Director of the Center for Documents, Manuscripts and Studies of the Levant, a member of the Supreme Committee for History to rewrite the history of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and a member of the National Documentation Plan Committee. Archiving, advisor to the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and Research, and head of the Executive Plan Committee for Culture at the University of Jordan.
Nadia Abdel Raouf Al-Rawabdeh, Minister of Labor
, was born in Irbid in 1963, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology from the University of Jordan.
Al-Rawabda held positions; Director General of the General Organization for Social Security, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Yarmouk Water Company, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kingdom Electricity Company, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Wadi Araba Development Company, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Jordanian Expatriate Excellence Award, and Member of the Economic Policy Development Forum.
She obtained membership in each of the boards of directors; Social Security Investment Fund, Kingdom Electricity Company, Jordanian Postal Company, King’s Founding Hospital, Al-Asr Company, Jordanian Ceramics Company, Al-Daman Investment Company, Al-Daman Investment Company, the Jordanian Al-Ajwakh Company, a member of the Board of Directors of the National Tourism Development Company, and a member of the Economic and Social Council. The National Committee for the Poverty and Unemployment Strategy, the National Committee for the Strategy for People with Special Needs, and the National Committee to follow up on the implementation of the executive plan for the National Family Strategy.
Youssef Al-Shamali, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply

Maher Abu Al-Samen, Minister of Public Works and Housing.
He was born in the city of Salt, in 1957, and served as Minister of Public Works and Housing and Minister of Transport. Abu Al-Samen holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Bucharest, and an honorary doctorate in management and foreign relations from the Royal University in Ireland.
The minister held positions; Minister of Municipal Affairs 2011-2023, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister of Water and Irrigation 2012-2013, Mayor of Greater Salt, Head of the Projects Follow-up Department at the Audit Bureau, Chairman of the Greater Salt Municipal Committee, Chairman of the Jordanian Municipalities Committee affiliated with the International Federation of United Cities, President of the Salt Sports Club.
