Islamic International Arab Bank received a prestigious award in recognition of the bank’s distinguished role in the banking sector as one of the leading Islamic banks in the Jordanian banking sector and the culmination of its continuous endeavor to adopt a culture of innovation and excellence in all its banking operations and its leading role in retail banking.
IRBA of Cambridge Financial Group (Cambridge IFA) organized its annual event to announce its annual awards for banks and financial institutions, which was held this year in the Bahraini capital, Manama, where it was announced that the bank won the award for the strongest Islamic bank for retail services in Jordan for the year 2023 in the presence of a large number of executives in Islamic banks and financial institutions in the world, a large number of whom praised the achievements of the Islamic International Arab Bank at all levels and reputation. The Bank’s local and regional excellence based on its growth strategy, where it has been able to record growth in its retail customer base and record increased financial performance.
On this occasion, the General Manager of Islamic International Arab Bank, Mr. Iyad Al-Asali, stated that this award is added to the bank’s record of many awards and honors from local and international bodies for the bank’s efforts in providing the best services and products compatible with Islamic Sharia in order to achieve the aspirations of customers and serve its community and local economy, adding that the bank, during its journey that began more than 26 years ago, was able to always be at the trust of its customers by focusing On the innovation and added value it provides to them, in addition to providing the highest standards of service quality, bearing in mind its core values, which are trust, safety and halal investment, and as an extension of these values, the bank promotes and develops its products and services to ensure maintaining the best levels of service and delivering these banking services to the largest possible segments.
According to the IRBA press release, this award is subject to strict scientific standards to analyze the performance of banks through the Group Research Center in the United Kingdom, which relied on a number of elements, the most important of which are the strength of financial and operational performance, excellence in customer service, creativity and innovation, and the role provided by the bank towards society, economy and the environment, where during this year an analysis was conducted for more than 150 Islamic banks in the world to the banks nominated for these awards.
