The Israeli occupation army continues its war on Gaza for the 204th day, as dozens of Palestinians were martyred and injured as a result of renewed bombardment on the Nuseirat camp in the center of the Gaza Strip, and the city of Rafah in the south.
The number of martyrs in the bombing of a house west of Rafah rose to 6, including 4 children.
After the war launched by the Israeli occupation in October 2023 on Gaza, Rafah became a forced home for displaced Palestinians from all over the Strip, whose number reached more than a million, living in harsh humanitarian conditions, and under Israeli pressure aimed at displacing them to the Sinai Peninsula.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said that it had received an official response from the occupation to the position it presented to the Egyptian and Qatari mediators on April 13, within the framework of ceasefire and prisoner exchange negotiations.
Earlier, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said that there are new Qatari-Egyptian efforts to try to reach a deal between Hamas and Israel.
Regarding the planned attack on Rafah, Sullivan stated that it is not clear to Washington that there is a credible Israeli plan to evacuate civilians before the attack begins.
