JETT operates its first Fixed Trips to the Saudi city of NEOM

The Jordanian Tourist Transport Company, owner of the “JETT” brand, announced in a statement today that it will operate fixed flights between Aqaba and the Saudi city of NEOM, starting on Thursday morning, 04/04/2024, at a rate of three flights per week and within a fixed movement program, to enhance the distinguished transportation services with flights. Programmed with specific dates and days between the two cities, with all reservation and payment services available electronically through the company’s reservation application.

Dr. Khaled Al-Laham, CEO of the company, confirmed that “Jet” is continuing to strengthen the connection of tourist cities inside and outside Jordan in a way that ensures the sustainability of transportation services, which represent the nerve and artery of connectivity and access and the basis for choosing tourist destinations, stressing that in the launch of fixed flights between the city of Aqaba and the city of NEOM on the side. The Saudi is very keen on empowering and strengthening the position of Aqaba as an easily accessible city of recreation, entertainment and shopping, and it represents a mutual service for what NEOM and the Saudi cities near Aqaba represent as a destination for many Jordanians as well, thanking the efforts of those in charge of making the launch of the line a success, represented by the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, the Aqaba Development Company and all official bodies. The security forces operating at the southern Durra crossing include customs, the Border Security Administration, and others.

Jet fixed flights between NEOM and Aqaba will depart on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from the company’s offices in Aqaba and the Ayla project to the arrival station, the success partner, represented by the Royal Lazur Resort in downtown NEOM, at the rate of one round-trip flight. It is noteworthy that “Jet” transported to and from Aqaba during the year 2023. It carries more than 600,000 passengers, and it represents the only daily link between Aqaba, Rum and Petra on fixed flights, making it the largest carrier for the city of Aqaba with a fixed flight schedule within the category of public transport and tourist transport services
