In a significant move to bolster academic and cultural cooperation, Amman Al-Ahliyya University has inked memorandums of understanding with both the University of Sulaimaniyah and Sulaimaniyah Technical University. This event took place during the Jordanian-Kurdistan Higher Education Forum 2024, marking a milestone in international academic relations.
Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, President of Amman Al-Ahliyya University, emphasized the institution’s dedication to activating its relationships with various fraternal and friendly universities. The goal is to achieve openness to the international community, encourage cultural, academic, and research exchange, and enhance the university’s reputation and its graduates.
Dr. Hamdan added that stemming from the importance of international cooperation, numerous memorandums have been concluded with the Kurdistan side. These agreements aim to foster cultural and student exchange and establish joint scientific and research projects and programs that benefit both the Jordanian and Kurdish sides.
Representatives from the University of Sulaimaniyah and Sulaimaniyah Technical University lauded the signing of these memorandums, affirming that they would contribute significantly to enhancing academic cooperation and providing exceptional educational opportunities for students.
