Member of parliament, Muhammad Al-Thahrawi commented on Al-Wehdat's decision to withdraw from the league, stressing that the Jordan Football Association is responsible for what happened.

Al-Thahrawi said in a press statement, that the federation had to meet with the two clubs before making a decision to transfer the match between them to Irbid, and that he had to reach solutions that satisfactory to both parties, not to make decisions “from his head.”

Al-Thahrawi stressed that Al-Ittihad had caused a rift between the two clubs, and that it had to act and reach a solution.

Al-Thahrawi expressed his hope that a solution would be reached soon that would take into account the interests of sport, the interests of football, and, in the end, the interest of our dear country.
