Sheikha Moza attends ‘Qatar Jannah’ musical by Qatar Foundation schools

Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, attends ‘Qatar Jannah’ musical performance organised by Pre-University Education at Qatar Foundation and presented by students from its schools, as part of National Day celebrations.

Performance depicts creative journey of Qatar Foundation school students through national and heritage-themed artistic tableaux, telling story of education, innovation and Qatari identity, documenting landmarks of Education City, and concluding with ‘Qatar Jannah’ song expressing national unity and diversity.

Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, also attends event, which reflects deep-rooted educational and national values, including pride in identity and heritage, strengthening Arabic language, and embedding inclusivity by integrating students of all ages, including persons with disabilities, while highlighting Education City role as hub for knowledge, culture and innovation.

Pre-University Education President at Qatar Foundation Abeer Al Khalifa says musical celebrates Qatar National Day and embodies vision of pre-university education to instil pride, belonging and loyalty in students. She adds event reflects commitment to fostering national identity through joyful and meaningful celebrations that translate values of unity, cohesion and pride in national achievements.

Al Khalifa notes performance brings together students from Qatar Foundation schools in celebration of national identity and journey of schools that graduated generations contributing to community building. She says musical goes beyond stage performance to offer rich educational experience enhancing students’ self-confidence, creative expression and teamwork skills.

She adds experience enables students to link learning in arts, music, language and history with real-life practice, supporting holistic development and positive community contribution. Participation of large number of students reflects spirit of integration and diversity within pre-university education system and mission to prepare generation proud of identity, grounded in values and open to world.

History and Islamic civilisation teacher at ‘Akademyati’ school Nida Al Karbi describes student participation as exceptional experience, noting visible enthusiasm from first moment and transformation of rehearsals into genuine passion expressing love for country and pride in identity.

She highlights role of such initiatives in moving students beyond classroom to live national values in practice, strengthening sense of belonging, self-confidence and awareness of responsibility towards country. She adds diversity of student ages gave performance distinctive character reflecting Qatar Foundation spirit of inclusion and belief that true education extends beyond curricula to lasting experiences.
