Ahliyya Amman University signs memorandum of understanding with Jordan Pharmacists Association, aiming to strengthen cooperation and support pharmaceutical education sector while advancing professional practice of pharmacists in Kingdom.
MoU signed on behalf of Ahliyya Amman University by University President Prof Sari Hamdan, and on behalf of Jordan Pharmacists Association by Association President Dr Zaid Al-Kilani, in presence of Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy Dr Arwa Al-Khatib.
Prof Hamdan says agreement aligns with university vision to expand partnerships with national professional institutions, noting university focus on developing academic and training programmes that meet labour market needs.
Dr Al-Kilani says MoU represents important step toward organising and developing training programmes for pharmacists, supporting requirements for licence renewal and raising professional standards.
Dr Al-Khatib says agreement will positively impact pharmacy students and graduates through joint courses, research cooperation, and organisation of workshops and scientific conferences, stressing faculty commitment to aligning educational outcomes with modern professional requirements.
MoU stipulates coordination of joint training courses for pharmacy graduates in subjects required for licence renewal, follow-up of course files and approvals from accredited health authorities, alongside cooperation in scientific research, organisation of academic activities, and supervision of agreed training programmes.
