The Jordan Football Association will host a four-nation international friendly tournament next March in Amman, featuring the Jordan national team (Al-Nashama) alongside Iran national football team, Nigeria national football team, and Costa Rica national football team. The tournament serves as preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
According to the schedule, Jordan will open against Costa Rica on Friday, March 27, at King Abdullah II Stadium. On the same day, Iran will face Nigeria at Amman International Stadium.
Jordan will then meet Nigeria on Tuesday, March 31, at Amman International Stadium, while Iran takes on Costa Rica at King Abdullah II Stadium.
As part of its final preparations before the World Cup, Jordan will hold a training camp in May and June. The team is set to face Switzerland national football team on Sunday, May 31, in St. Gallen, before traveling to the United States to play Colombia national football team on Sunday, June 7, in San Diego. Jordan will be based in Portland, USA, during the tournament.
Al-Nashama are preparing for their first-ever participation in the FIFA World Cup, having been drawn in Group J alongside Argentina national football team, Algeria national football team, and Austria national football team.
