Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned what it described as an Iranian ballistic missile attack targeting Jordanian territory, as well as attacks on the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait.
In a statement, the ministry affirmed that Jordan will continue to take all necessary and available measures to safeguard the security of its citizens and protect its sovereignty.
The ministry also expressed Jordan’s full solidarity with the affected Arab states, stressing its support in confronting any actions that threaten their sovereignty, security, and stability.
Furthermore, Jordan reiterated its commitment to working with regional and international partners to de-escalate tensions and promote stability. The statement emphasized the importance of restraint and the adoption of diplomatic solutions and dialogue as the means to overcome crises and preserve regional security.
