Arab Bank has launched its seasonal community outreach initiatives for the current year, aimed at strengthening social solidarity and providing essential support to underprivileged groups during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
As part of these efforts, Arab Bank employees participated in a two-day voluntary program in collaboration with Thareed Waqf. The volunteers prepared and distributed more than 2,600 hot meals to guests of the endowment. These activities are designed to foster a culture of volunteerism and corporate giving, particularly during the month of Ramadan.
Arab Bank is one of the founding supporters of Thareed Waqf, which was established in 2022 with the mission of providing balanced and healthy daily meals to those in need throughout the Kingdom. Through this ongoing partnership, the bank expects to contribute to the provision of approximately 52,000 meals this year. These meals are distributed through carefully selected centers, including a primary facility located next to the Al-Husseini Mosque in Downtown Amman, which houses a central kitchen and warehouse to manage logistics.
These initiatives are a core component of Arab Bank’s "Together" (Ma’an) corporate social responsibility program. This multi-faceted strategy focuses on several key sectors, including health, poverty alleviation, environmental protection, education, and the empowerment of women and orphans, all aimed at achieving sustainable social and economic development.
