The Local Organizing Committee, in cooperation with UEFA and CONMEBOL, announced the decision to cancel the Qatar Football Festival 2026. Consequently, the planned program of events in Qatar will no longer take place, including the highly anticipated 2026 Finalissima match between Argentina and Spain, which was previously scheduled to be held at Lusail Stadium in Doha.
Due to ongoing airspace disruptions and travel restrictions that continue to impact the movement of fans, players, and officials, all parties jointly agreed that relocating the match to another site is currently the most appropriate option.
The Local Organizing Committee expressed its readiness to host future events organized by UEFA and CONMEBOL.
Refund Information for Fans:
Automatic Refunds: All fans who purchased tickets for the Qatar Football Festival will receive a full refund automatically within 30 days via the original payment method.
Support: If the refund is not received after 30 days, ticket holders should contact support@tickets.roadtoqatar.qa.
Travel Packages: International fans who purchased travel packages through tourism agents will be contacted directly regarding refund procedures.
