Al-Wehdat climbed to the top of the Jordanian Pro League standings on Tuesday following a dominant 3-0 victory over Shabab Al-Aqaba at the King Abdullah II Stadium in Amman.
In the 24th round of the CFI Jordan Professional League, Mohammad Mawali opened the scoring early for the hosts in the 10th minute. Mohannad Abu Taha doubled the lead shortly after the break in the 52nd minute, before Mahmoud Showkat sealed the three points with a strike in stoppage time (90+2).
With this win, Al-Wehdat move to 49 points, securing a temporary lead at the top of the table. Shabab Al-Aqaba remain in eighth place with 22 points following the defeat.
