The Public Security Directorate renewed its warning regarding the danger of igniting fires near dry grass and trees, especially with rising temperatures and the rapid spread of fires in such weather conditions.
The Directorate called for the necessity of not throwing cigarette butts from vehicles or leaving barbecue fires unattended, ensuring they are completely extinguished and covered with dirt before leaving the sites, in addition to keeping ignition sources out of the reach of children's hands.
It also called for the necessity of immediately reporting any fire by calling the unified emergency number (911), emphasizing its operational readiness to handle various reports around the clock.
