he Fuel Pricing Committee reviewed on Sunday local fuel prices for May against international market prices and approved fuel prices for June.

In line with government directives aimed at mitigating the impact of rising global energy prices on Jordanians and the national economy, the committee decided to keep the prices of most petroleum products unchanged for June while partially adjusting diesel prices without fully reflecting international costs.

The committee stated that the government has maintained its policy since the onset of the regional crisis of absorbing a significant portion of global fuel price increases rather than passing them on in full to consumers.
