The Department of the National Library in Amman hosted the "Narrative Knights 80|20.. A Stand of Belonging" forum on Tuesday evening, organized by the "My Nationality is Human" International Office to mark the Kingdom's 80th Independence Day and map future developmental milestones.

Dr. Amin Abu Hijleh, President of the International Knights of Peace and Secretary-General of the International Board for Human Rights, stated that the organization is shifting its operational focus from rights advocacy to active opportunity creation and innovation.

He emphasized that tolerance and proactive civic engagement remain the cornerstones of building resilient communities.

During the event, Abu Hijleh announced the appointment of Advisor Dr. Khaled Al-Salami as the Honorary President of the International Board for Human Rights, recognizing his contributions to regional knowledge exchange and humanitarian initiatives.

He also extended congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein, and the Jordanian people on Independence Day.

The forum, which connected eight decades of national achievements with future modernization tracks, featured the launch of the UAE-backed "Idea Maker Award for Training Content and Impact." Additionally, organizers introduced the "Sustainability Passport: The Impact Maker" initiative, designed to integrate sustainable development and institutional innovation into youth empowerment programs.

Participants underscored that the event highlights Jordan's position as a regional hub for humanitarian leadership, bridging civic allegiance with sustainable development goals to drive cross-border cooperation.
