Renewed Partnership Between Cairo Amman Bank and the King Hussein Cancer Foundation to Support Patients and Enhance Community Awareness

Amman — Cairo Amman Bank has signed a cooperation agreement with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) to support a number of the foundation's programs and activities. Foremost among these are the King Hussein Award for Cancer Research and the annual summer camp dedicated to children undergoing treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).
Additionally, Cairo Amman Bank announced, for the first time, its support for the "Go Green: A Healthy Environment Against Cancer" campaign, which aims to boost community awareness regarding the importance of environmental preservation and encourage sustainable health practices.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the opening of the children's summer camp, during which a delegation from Cairo Amman Bank visited the camp site to review the recreational and educational activities provided for the patients. This initiative comes as part of the strategic partnership between the two entities and reflects their commitment to providing psychological and social support to young patients, helping improve their quality of life throughout their treatment journeys.
Maha Ababneh, Head of Private Banking and Business Services Group at Cairo Amman Bank, expressed her pride in the agreement, noting that it represents a leading model for purposeful institutional cooperation. She stated that it sends a strong message that integrated efforts among community institutions can a real and sustainable impact on the lives of patients and their families. She added that this partnership enhances the foundation's ability to expand its qualitative programs, solidifying a culture of corporate social responsibility as a true partnership in manufacturing hope, rather than just offering financial support.
The Director-General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, expressed her deep appreciation for Cairo Amman Bank's continuous backing of the foundation's initiatives. She emphasized that the summer camp is one of KHCF's specialized programs that gives young patients the opportunity to enjoy their time within a safe environment that blends entertainment with learning, thereby boosting their mental and social well-being and raising their spirits.
She added: "We are proud of our ongoing partnership with Cairo Amman Bank, which continues to support the programs and initiatives of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation aimed at creating a positive, sustainable impact in the lives of patients and their families. This reflects a genuine belief in the importance of social solidarity and backing national efforts in the fight against cancer."
