Temperatures are expected to remain close to seasonal averages through Thursday, with generally mild summer conditions prevailing across most regions despite minor fluctuations during the week, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

The department said Monday's temperatures will be slightly below normal for this time of year, bringing mild conditions to much of the country. Relatively hot weather is forecast in the Badia, while hot conditions will continue in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Low clouds are expected to develop intermittently, accompanied by moderate northwesterly winds that may become active at times.

Forecasters expect little change on Tuesday, with the prevailing weather pattern continuing across most areas. Mild summer weather will persist in the highlands, plains and other populated regions, while the Badia remains relatively hot and the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba continue to experience hot conditions.

A slight in temperatures is forecast on Wednesday, although the overall weather pattern is expected to remain stable. Mild weather will continue across most regions, while hot conditions persist in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Moderate northwesterly winds are forecast to strengthen occasionally.

Temperatures are expected to edge slightly higher on Thursday, returning to near the levels recorded earlier in the week. Mild summer conditions will continue across most areas, while relatively hot weather is forecast in the Badia and hot conditions will persist across the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.

Monday's temperatures are forecast to reach 31 degrees Celsius in East Amman and 29 degrees in West Amman. Highs are expected to reach 28 C in the northern highlands and 27 C in the Sharah highlands, while the plains are forecast to record 31 C.

The warmest conditions will remain concentrated in the country's desert and low-elevation regions, with temperatures forecast to reach 36 C in the Badia, 39 C in the northern Jordan Valley, 40 C at the Dead Sea and 41 C in both Aqaba and the southern Jordan Valley.
