​The Royal Decree was issued on Tuesday, approving a cabinet reshuffle in the government of Jafar Hassan. Below is the text of the decree:
​"We, Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, pursuant to Article 35 of the Constitution, and based on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, decree the following:
​His Excellency Dr. Nidal Mardi Abdullah Al-Qatamin is appointed as Minister of Transport and Minister of Labor.
​Issued from our Raghadan Palace on this 29th day of Muharram in the year 1448 AH, corresponding to the 14th day of July in the year 2026 AD."
​The minister took the constitutional oath before His Majesty the King.
​The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Jafar Hassan and the Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court, Yousef Hassan Al-Esawi.
​A Royal Decree was also issued approving the resignation of His Excellency Khalid Mahmoud Mohammad Al-Bakar, Minister of Labor, from his post, effective July 14, 2026.
