AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah II, Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army (JAF), inaugurated new headquarters buildings for the 40th King Hussein bin Talal Royal Armored Brigade—a key formation of the Central Military Region—on Monday.
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II attended the ceremony.
Upon arrival, His Majesty—in the presence of Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti and the Commander of the Central Military Region—was briefed by the Director of the Military Housing and Works Establishment on the project's execution phases and facilities.
His Majesty also received a briefing from the Brigade Commander detailing operational, training, and logistical affairs. The presentation highlighted the unit's combat readiness, along with strategic development programs designed to bolster the brigade's capabilities and fulfill its duties in alignment with JAF’s ongoing modernization plans.
King Abdullah commended the dedicated efforts of JAF personnel in safeguarding the nation and preserving its stability, reaffirming his complete confidence in the competence and readiness of the Nashama (the brave men of the Arab Army) to tackle any challenge.
