The Northern Military Region foiled an attempt by an individual to sneak across one of its border posts on Sunday morning, as he tried to cross the frontier illegally.
Border guard forces spotted the individual, applied standing rules of engagement, and arrested him before handing him over to the relevant authorities.
The Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army affirmed it will continue dealing firmly and forcefully with all forms of infiltration and smuggling, in order to safeguard the Kingdom's security and stability and protect its borders from any threat.
