"We understand Netanyahu's political needs, and we have no problem with that, as long as he keeps doing what we're asking of him — especially when it comes to reining in attacks on Gaza," the official said, adding that Netanyahu spoke by phone last week with US presidential envoy Jared Kushner and promised to give the 15-point plan a chance despite his skepticism, while pledging to limit strikes on Gaza until the disarmament process begins.
