The courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque have recorded a dangerous escalation in settler violations since the early hours of Thursday, coinciding with a series of consecutive incursions that began at 6:30 AM on the eve of what is known as the "start of the Hebrew month," according to the Governorate of Jerusalem.
The mosque’s courtyards witnessed incursions by large, successive groups of settlers, concentrated in the eastern plazas, the roof of the Marwani Prayer Hall, and the plaza of the Al-Qibli Prayer Hall, in addition to the northern and western corridors. Accompanied and protected by Israeli occupation police, they openly performed collective Talmudic prayers and rituals, chanted songs, and raised their voices with clapping and Talmudic singing.
The courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque also witnessed dancing circles and prayers in large numbers, as the sounds of Talmudic rituals escalated across various parts of the mosque—a scene reflecting a striking increase in the pace of violations and attempts to impose collective rituals inside the mosque.
These actions take place amid restrictions imposed by the occupation forces on Muslims' access to Al-Aqsa Mosque, alongside a continuous escalation in turning incursions into collective Talmudic rituals, in an effort to enforce a new reality at the mosque and encroach upon its sanctity and religious status.
